Here are your Cardiff City transfer headlines for Friday, July 1.
Morison: More new signings to come
Cardiff City manager Steve Morison has confirmed the club will add "a few more new faces" before the transfer window closes. The Bluebirds have already seen nine new players through the door this summer, but are not resting on their laurels as they prepare to make more additions in the coming weeks.
Speaking to the club website, Morison said: "The plan was to get as many in the building as early as possible, because I'd rather have five good weeks with them than five weeks with some, four weeks with another or a few days with some.
"We've got additions coming. There will be a few more new faces, but they will just be adding final pieces to he jigsaw. The core group will have been together for five weeks and we will add some sprinkles to the group."

The week-long trip to Scotland has been as much about imprinting the new style and philosophy as it has been a team bonding trip with so many new players in the squad. Morison said they are all settling in well, while a few in particular caught the eye of former Bluebirds winger Chris Burke.
"They are all enthused, they are all enjoying it. it's a good group. We spoke to some of the older heads and asked them about the group, how do they feel, they said, 'yeah, really good'. They've all been enjoying their time together, working hard and pushing each other, which is great, seeing lots of players with smiles on their faces."
Asked about the new signings, Morison said: "Excellent. They have added a real impetus to the group and mixed in really well with the others.
"There are some great characters. They've really added to the group. It was interesting we had Birkey [Chris Burke] up here the other day, watching training, and the players he picked out were a lot of the new players who he didn't know. The likes of JC [Jamilu Collins], Ebs [Ebou Adams], Andy [Rinomhota], people like that, they really caught the eye. I'll be really pleased to see them in the fist game in a couple of weeks."
Youngster delighted to linked up with new loan club
Wales youth international Kieron Evans has expressed his delight at linking up with his new loan club Torquay United. Evans spent the back half of last season on loan with Belfast-based side Linfield, where he won the league title and helped the club to secure Champions League qualification.
It came after breaking into the first team under Mick McCarthy and then featuring under Steve Morison. But it is clear he needs more senior games under his belt if he is to further his career and he hopes to do that it in the National League with Torquay United.
“I spoke to my agent, and as soon as he said ‘Gary Johnson’, obviously I knew him, because he’s a big name in football," the 20-year-old said. “I came down, saw what it was like, and I didn’t want to go anywhere else, then.”
Evans has penned a season-long loan move to the Devon club.
Rotherham keen on Ikpeazu
Rotherham United are reportedly keen on signing Uche Ikpeazu after the striker was told he was surplus to requirements at Middlesbrough.
The forward endeared himself to fans in south Wales at the back end of last season, with an enthusiastic ayatollah and three important goals for the Bluebirds, and now it looks as though he is poised to seal another move before this summer's transfer window closes, with reports now linking him with a move to the recently-promoted Millers, who have just lost striker Michael Smith to Sheffield Wednesday.
Rowberry looking forward to Bogle link-up
Former Bluebirds forward Omar Bogle has linked up with ex-Cardiff coach James Rowberry at Newport County. The 28-year-old had a miserable time of it while contracted to Cardiff, largely heading out on loan spells throughout his time with the club.
But Rowberry is keen to work with him again and believes that, following the departure of Dom Telford to League Two rivals Crawley Town, he can add the goals the Exiles desperately need to fire themselves to promotion this term.
Rowberry said: “I’m really pleased to welcome Omar to Newport County AFC, with myself and Carl [Serrant, assistant manager] having worked with him previously, we know what he can bring to the team. It’s another exciting signing for us and I would like to thank Gavin [Foxall, chairman] and Darren [Kelly, sporting director] for the work they have put into this. I’m sure you’ll give Omar a really warm welcome.”
Since he left the Welsh capital in 2020 he has signed permanently for Charlton Athletic, Doncaster Rovers and Hartlepool United, for whom he penned a two-and-a-half-year deal back in January this year. The Pools forward netted five times in 20 League Two appearances during the 21/22 season.
