Bowen completes Newport move
Sam Bowen has completed a move to League Two side Newport County
The 21-year-old midfielder becomes the first signing of the summer for County, who have completed the move for an undisclosed fee.
Bowen progressed through the ranks with the Bluebirds, and made four league appearances for the club before making the move east.

On securing the deal, boss James Rowberry said: "I'm delighted to welcome Sam to Newport, I worked with him for 10 years during our time at Cardiff, which makes me fully aware of his capabilities and what he can bring to the football club.
"HIs style of play suits us well and I have no doubt that he can be a continuation of our processes as we move forward, going into the forthcoming season.
"I'm excited for the club, Sam and Sam's family on getting this deal over the line and I can't wait to start work on the training pitch in preparation for next season."
Alnwick hails brother and Ederson influence
New Cardiff City signing Jak Alnwick has credited the influence of his older brother in helping to kickstart his career.
The former Newcastle United keeper recently completed a move to the capital following the recent departure of previous number one Alex Smithies, the latest step in a career that's previously taken him to eight clubs.
His brother Ben also started his career in their native north-east, running out for Sunderland, before later enjoying spells at Tottenham, Luton, Norwich and, most recently, Bolton Wanderers among others.
And it's clear his career has had a big influence on his younger brother, who's itching to get started for the Bluebirds next term. However, it's Manchester City's current number one that's now his biggest source of inspiration.
"My biggest influence has been my brother," he told Cardiff's official website. "Obviously he's older than me and I used to see him playing a lot for Sunderland when I was a young kid and that influenced into being a goalkeeper.
"At the time, my footballing hero was [Peter] Schmeichel, but now I look up at Ederson."
Drameh ready to fight for Leeds place
Cody Drameh has reportedly told Leeds United he intends to fight for a first-team place in the Premier League next season.
The Yorkshire Post report the former Cardiff City loanee has already met with boss Jesse Marsch to outline his ambitions to prove himself at Elland Road next term, in a move that would deal a blow to Cardiff and their hopes of bringing Drameh back to south Wales.
There had previously been indications the full-back was open to a return to the capital, with boss Steve Morison making little secret of his own eagerness to bring the 20-year-old back to the club. But if he's handed the chance to shine in the top flight, a reunion seems unlikely.

Jordan takes aim at Bale amid Atletico rejection
Simon Jordan has slammed Gareth Bale for 'wasting everyone's time' over the last couple of years, amid reports the Wales skipper has been rejected by Atletico Madrid.
Speaking on talkSport, Jordan was assessing the chances of Wales making it through to a first World Cup since 1958, with Rob Page's men set to take on either Scotland or Ukraine on June 5. Jordan then accused Wales of 'lacking class' for the way they celebrated England's demise during Euro 2016, before stating that Bale was likely to be their main source of inspiration once more.
Bale has played just 20 minutes of football since the win over Austria back in March, and is now set to be looking for a new club after a turbulent couple of years in the Spanish capital. Bale's treatment has been the source of much debate in recent weeks, but Jordan clearly feels the Welshman is at least partially responsible for how things have panned out.
"I think, Gareth Bale, once upon a time, going to Spain and performing at a level for Real Madrid, was phenomenal to watch," he said.
"I think the last two or three years, he's wasted everyone's time, including his own. If he doesn't turn up in that game against Scotland, that's the end of Wales."
His comments come on the back of reports in Spain that Atletico Madrid had rejected the chance to sign Bale this summer. You can read more about that here.
