Here's your round-up of all the latest Cardiff City news for Tuesday, July 19.
Hugill plotting to down Bluebirds
Former Cardiff City loanee Jordan Hugill says he's relishing life back at Norwich City, and is eager to hit the ground running back at Carrow Road - starting with the Bluebirds on the opening day.
Hugill has enjoyed a strong pre-season with the Canaries, netting twice in the 3-0 win over Marseille on Saturday to take his tally to four goals in four games for the summer.

The 30-year-old played no part in Norwich's ill-fated Premier League campaign last season, after being shipped out on loan to West Bromwich Albion and then Cardiff City.
At Cardiff, he netted four goals in 19 games during a reasonably successful stint under Steve Morison, but he's now eyeing up a victory over his former side on the opening day.
“I’ve loved it and I love being here. It’s something that I was dying to get back into and I am raring to go. Hopefully I can carry on doing that and see where it takes us for the season.
"It’s always good to get to know new people and the lads who have come in have been brilliant, so it’s nice to see old faces and be back playing with them, but the new faces are just as good as well.
“I feel really fit. I worked hard in the off season to get myself in the best possible shape and I feel as though it’s been paying off at the start of pre-season for me.
“We’ll get more minutes in the tank, get the fitness up and make sure we’re ready for Cardiff."
Doncaster keen on Tomlin
Doncaster Rovers boss Gary McSheffrey says he's set to sit down with former Cardiff City playmaker Lee Tomlin in a bid to tie him down for the upcoming season.
The 33-year-old left the Bluebirds by mutual consent back in October, before signing a short-term deal at Walsall.
He was released at the end of last season, and is on trial at the Keepmoat Stadium, where he's been training and playing for free.
Tomlin is expected to play for Rovers in tonight's pre-season friendly with Rotherham United, having already netted the decisive goal from the spot against against Huddersfield Town, to hand Rovers their fourth win in as many pre-season matches.
Discussing his performance, McSheffrey said: "He was good again; he showed some moments of brilliance but his out-of-possession play was good – he kept the structure and discipline was pleasing.
“We’ll have a sit down with Lee this week and see if we can come to some sort of agreement.”
McSheffrey added: "He’s enjoying his football more than he’s enjoyed it for five or six years.
"He’s a good person to have around the place and a good player at the level.
"We’ll get Tuesday out the way and see where it goes from there.”
Trio a doubt for Shrewsbury
Cardiff City continue their pre-season preparations with another trip on the road, this time up to Shropshire.
Steve Morison takes his side to Shrewsbury Town, one of his former clubs, tonight and will no doubt be hoping his team can maintain some momentum after wins over Cambridge United, Newport County and Cheltenham Town so far this summer.
This is another valuable opportunity for Morison to take a closer look at his squad ahead of the new season, with Callum O'Dowda, Joe Ralls, Romaine Sawyers, Sheyi Ojo and Cedric Kipre all getting their first minutes of pre-season against the Robins last weekend. No doubt Morison will want to run the rule over them some more with the season fast approaching.
Isaak Davies, Rubin Colwill and Ebou Adams have all been missing through varying injury issues, so their attendance at Montgomery Waters Meadow appears doubtful.
