Cardiff City have made a drastic change to their colour scheme and released a maroon-coloured away strip for the 2023/24 campaign.
The Bluebirds' New Balance home kit has been broadly well received by supporters, but now, in time for the club's trip to Portugal next week, they have unveiled the away colours for the upcoming season.
The shirt is a maroon colour with block and white diagonal stripes in the down the left-hand side of it - as you look at it. The badge is completely whited out, which makes it pop from the dark maroon background.

The shorts are a block maroon colour, while the socks follow the same pattern. It's certainly a change-up from the first New Balance away kit last season, which was grey and black.
As for the goalkeeper's kit, it's as you would expect - a full green number. Although the square, patchwork-type effect which is evident on the grey home goalkeeper jersey is also evident in the green away strip.
Cardiff hope to launch the away kit before they fly out to Portugal next week, so supporters will be able to purchase and wear the maroon colours out in the Algarve if they are travelling there.
The away kit is likely to follow the same pricing structure as the home kit, with men's and women's jerseys on sale for £55, while shorts are priced at £26 and socks are £12.
