Here are your Cardiff City headlines for Wednesday, September 14.
Colwill backed to reach the top
Wales boss Rob Page has backed Cardiff starlet Rubin Colwill to reach the very top of the game in this country.
Colwill is one of the brightest prospects to come out of the Bluebirds' academy in recent years and many hope he will be central to any success that comes the club's way in the years to come.
When asked if he believes Colwill has what it takes to get to the top echelons of the game, Page said: "Absolutely. He has got all the attributes. He just needs to settle his body down with regards to his injuries and he will get there, I believe that."

He has endured his fitness struggles so far this season, though, and Page believes it might be down to "growing pains". The Wales boss understands that Colwill might be frustrated, but is backing him to come out the other side and realise his full potential.
"When you're a young player you are prone to it. Believe it or not, he might have growing pains again. He is 6ft 3in already," Page added.
"But I stand by what I said a couple of years ago when I introduced him to the squad, he is a talent and I think there was a lot of speculation in the window about whether he was going to move and he decided he was going to stay.
"He is as frustrated as anyone with those couple of knocks. But once he has got past that, he will be a talented player."
Huddersfield sack boss and Warnock in running
Huddersfield Town have sacked Danny Schofield as head coach less than two months into the new season, with Cardiff City next on their agenda.
The Terriers have endured a miserable start to the 2022/23 campaign which was compounded by their 2-1 loss to Wigan Athletic at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Town have confirmed that Narcis Pelach and Paul Harsley will be in temporary charge of the first team when they welcome the Bluebirds on Saturday afternoon.
David Wagner is the bookies' favourite to take over once again at the Yorkshire club, with old Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock a little further down the ladder.
Next permanent Huddersfield manager odds in full:
David Wagner 1/3
Anthony Barry 8/1
Duncan Ferguson 10/1

Ralls: I'm made up for the fans who travelled
Joe Ralls issued a message to the 200-plus travelling supporters who made their way up to Middlesbrough on Tuesday night to see them come out on top in the 3-2 win at the Riverside.
Thanks to goals from Callum O'Dowda, Mark Harris and Perry Ng, plus a brilliant backs-to-the-wall defensive display at the end of the match, City earned their first win in six games.
And speaking after the match, Ralls, who came off through injury in the first half, wrote on Twitter: "Great away win tonight, showed our quality at times and then we had to dig in towards the end and the boys showed great character to do so.
"Made up for the fans who made the long journey up on a Tuesday night to watch their team. Safe journey back."
Robinson: I'm still playing catch up
Callum Robinson admits he's not fully up to speed just yet, but that didn't stop him registering two assists against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
Robinson signed on deadline day, City's 17th summer addition, and was brought in to score goals and get assists. Well, he certainly started with a bang, helping to put two goals in the back of the net during the Bluebirds' rip-roaring start up north.
"I'm playing a little bit of catch up," he said. "I missed three weeks due to injury in pre-season. I was in and out at West Brom before I came here. It was nice to get minutes and help the team win.
"I said I came here to get goals and assists. I didn't get my goal tonight, but I chipped in with a few assists which was nice.
"In training we have been doing a little bit of work. I am still getting used to the boys and I've not played a lot before tonight. Obviously I've played with Cal (O'Dowda) a few times and I know he likes that run in behind, so as soon as I picked my head up, he made my mind up with a lovely run and finished it off nicely."
On the win itself, he added: "It's obviously been tough, I've only been here a few weeks but a few results haven't gone our way and we've been playing well. It's nice for the boys and hopefully we can carry on that winning feeling.
"You know what the Championship is like. It's one win but a good win against a good team with some quality players, good Championship-level players. It was a tough night, we made it hard for ourselves but we will look at that. Hopefully we can get a run together."
There were a number of clubs chasing his signature at the end of the window, but Robinson said he was impressed by the feedback he received from Cardiff when they wanted to sign him.
"It's a massive football club," he said of the reason behind his decision. "It was deadline day and they were really keen to sign me. I want to be playing football and I want to play every week and the club really gave me that positive feedback and got it over the line, I'm really grateful for that."
Birmingham City 'not pushing' to sign Leandro Bacuna
Former Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United midfielder Carlton Palmer has offered his view on Leandro Bacuna potentially signing for Birmingham City.
The former Bluebirds player, 31, was released by the club in the summer and is yet to find a new home, but has been training with his brother Juninho's club in the Midlands.
Speaking to Football League World about the potential transfer, Palmer said: “He’s just been released from Cardiff, done three years at Cardiff.
“But from all reports from John Eustace, the simple situation is he is up staying with his brother. He asked if he could come in and do some training to keep fit.
“John Eustace has agreed for him to come in and do some training with the club to keep fit with his brother, and apparently he’s not pushing to sign the player at the moment.”
