Cardiff City have completed a loan deal for FC Midtjylland striker Sory Kaba.
There were complications at the 11th hour, when it looked for a time like the deal was off while the Bluebirds were playing against Luton Town.
Nothing highlighted their lack of cutting edge than the 1-0 defeat by the Hatters. They looked blunt up top and in desperate need of a focal point, which they hope the 6ft 3in striker can bring to the table.

Cardiff are the lowest scorers in the Championship and need help at the top end of the pitch if they are to break their 12-game winless run and stay in the division.
Kaba has three goals in 14 international games for Guinea. He has two goals in 27 games for Danish outfit Midtylland this season.
Kaba made his name in Spain at Elche, for whom he scored 24 goals in 64 games while they were in the Spanish second tier. He earned a move to Dijon in France in 2019 but struggled for game-time and goals.
In Denmark, though, he helped the club to win the league in his first season and has been a key part of their strike force, scoring 26 goals in 102 outings for the club in total.
The striker also enjoyed a fruitful loan spell in Belgium with OH Leuven last season, netting 12 times in 29 outings.
