Cardiff Bay Series: Simply Red, Primal Scream and Lewis Capaldi to play huge gigs this summer

Three huge gigs are set to take place in Cardiff Bay this summer with Simply Red, Primal Scream and Lewis Capaldi all preparing to take to the stage.

The gigs will form part of the Bay Series - Wales’ new premier concert series that seeks to bring together music, food and culture over six days in Cardiff Bay.

It will all take place in a custom-built, open-air site at Cardiff Bay with six days packed full of live music.

In its inaugural year, the event saw the likes of Biffy Clyro, Eric Prydz, Nile Rodgers And Chic, Pendulum and many more take to the stage to perform some of their greatest hits.

This summer Simply Red, Primal Scream and Lewis Capaldi have already been confirmed as part of the line-up.

When will the Bay Series take place?

Capaldi recently confirmed he would play a date as part of his UK tour, and will play at Alexandra Head in Cardiff Bay on Wednesday, July 20 as part of The Bay Series.

Simply Red will take to the stage on Thursday, July 21 and Primal Scream are set to perform on Friday, July 22 .

How do I get tickets?

Tickets are available at the Bay Series website and come in at various prices. You can also visit the website to sign up to receive all the latest news about the event, and to be the first to hear which other artists are added to the line-up.
