Cardi B quits Twitter after feuding with fans over Grammys no-show

Cardi B has left the stage.

The Bronx native deleted her Twitter account Sunday after fans got angry that she skipped the Grammys in Las Vegas, but not before wishing death on the mom of one of them.

“I’m deleting my twitter but On God I hate this f--in dumb--- fan base,” she tweeted. “You got the slow dumb---es dragging my kids all cause y’all (thought) I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f---? When the f--- I hinted I was going? just f---in stupid I can’t I needs to protect myself.”

The 29-year-old rapper was nominated for best rap performance for her song “Up,” but lost to Baby Keem for “Family Ties,” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

“I bet yo son wouldn’t like you to be on your a-- while teasing us fans and not ever dropping music,” one person tweeted at her.

“I hope your moms die,” Cardi B responded.

On Instagram Live, which she didn’t delete, she doubled down on her decision not to go to the awards show, even if her fans were clamoring for an appearance.

“Why would I show up with one nomination? And I lost it anyways, so you wanted me to go to the Grammys, lose and award, and me just be there smiling like, ‘That’s great, that’s great,’” she said.

Before she logged off Twitter for good, Cardi B did fight back against a few fans, including one who falsely claimed one of her children has autism.

The “WAP” singer is raising 3-year-old daughter Culture and a son born in September with Offset.
