Cardi B has reached out to her 140 million Instagram followers on Monday for help to find the "best oncologist" with some urgency.
The 29-year-old rapper posted the rather worrying request on her Instagram Story today, stating that she needed help with a potentially life changing medical issue.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, asked for the recommendations but didn't clarify if it was for herself that she was asking on behalf.
The message comes after she had posted a short video to her Instagram Stories in which she said stated she was "praying for somebody in my family."
Cardi's message had a sense of urgency, with white text on a bright red background and it asked her followers: "I need the best oncologist for breast cancer ASAP!!!"
She added: "Don't care where they from but preferably in NY."
This follows a less pressing 'emergency' at her home in which Cardi posted a video of a green insect that was on her wall.
As she homed in on the creature, she said: "Look at this guys. So, in Spanish, this is called 'Esperanza [hope].' That's my grandma's name.
"And I've been praying for something — I've been praying and praying for someone in my family, and I feel like this is a sign that hope is going on."
Cardi added: "I have never seen this s*** in my house. And look at it. Look at it. It's nice, beautiful and green."
