The rich history of Carden Park dates back to the early 17th century when the Leche Family acquired the land upon which the hotel stands. They erected a lavish hall surrounded by stunning landscaped grounds teeming with deer. Unfortunately, this grand hall fell victim to Cromwell's troops and was later destroyed by a fire in 1912, supposedly due to a dropped cigarette during a party. Over the years, Carden Park changed hands multiple times before being acquired by Steve Morgan. Following an extensive multi-million dollar refurbishment, the doors were opened to the public in 1997, marking the birth of the remarkable Carden Park we know today.
