A new steak restaurant will replace the All Saints store in Cardiff and 'open soon'. New branding has appeared around the building. Gaucho, a chain of steak restaurants, will be opening its first Welsh site in the Welsh capital.
The restaurant, which describes itself as carbon neutral, will be opening on The Hayes in the city centre, replacing All Saints - and the branding outside the building is up already. Gaucho specialises in Argentinian wine and carbon neutral beef, having opened its first site in London back in 1994. The menu includes ribeye steaks for between £34 and £45 and fillets from £36 to £57.
The Argentinian-inspired restaurant has most recently opened a branch in Liverpool - reportedly its largest restaurant outside of London. This month the chain brought back 'eat out to help out' this month, offering £10 off when spending £40 dining across all of its restaurants.

Gaucho says it prides itself on a commitment to having a positive impact on the planet, participating in a project with the Carbon Group to gather carbon emission data and launching the 'Sustainable Steak Movement' last year alongside the 'Buenos Aires' and 'M' restaurant groups.
The Cardiff branch will be the chain's first Welsh site, with restaurants across London, Scotland, Liverpool, and Birmingham, among other places. The chain offers a variety of menus, including brunch, a la carte, and Sunday roast menus.
Among the dishes on offer at Gaucho are its speciality spiral cut steaks, as well as other options for those who aren't steak fans, including seabass, pork, chicken, and vegetarian and vegan options.
An opening date for the Cardiff restaurant is yet to be released, however, according to planning documents, the restaurant will employ around 80 staff members and trade between 9am and 11.30pm Monday to Thursday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and until 10.30pm on Sunday.
