Businesses across Ayrshire are on the hunt for new staff to help them keep pace with the busy festive period.

North Ayrshire
1. Temporary Production Operative - Robertson's Fine Foods in Irvine are looking for staff to mix sausage batches. The right candidate will have a willingness to learn and previous factory experience is preferred.
The hours are 6.45am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday and 6.45am - 2.45pm on Fridays until December 20. This role pays £9.75 per hour
2. Bar Staff - Belhaven in Largs is in need of seasonal part-time bar staff to keep up with thirsty festive customers. The role pays £9.50 an hour.
3. Seasonal Tree Planter- D&D GROUNDCARE AND FORESTRY LTD need seasonal tree planters to plant seedlings according to the specifications provided at the beginning of each planting contract.
Planters are responsible for providing their own clothing and will be paid per tree price which can vary between £0.08 and £0.37. Typically, planters will make between £90 and £160 a day for a total of between £10,000 and £19,000 a planting season (October to May).
Successful applicants will be invited for a one-day trial period.
East Ayrshire
4. Customer Assistant - Marks & Spencer in Kilmarnock need staff to man its food department to keep up with Christmas demands.
The shift pattern for this role will be 12 to 6pm Monday and Tuesday, 2pm to 8pm Friday and Saturday. Then the second week's shift pattern will be 11am to 5pm Sunday, 12 to 6pm Thursday and Saturday.
5. Bottling Hall Operative - This role will be based at the Glen Catrine bonded warehouse and bottling facility in Ayrshire. Key responsibilities include hand packing of the product and labelling of spirit on fast paced production lines.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.45am to 12.15. This is a temporary ongoing role with the opportunity for a permanent role which pays £9.50 per hour and offers 38.25 hours per week.

6. Retail assistant - The Food Warehouse in Kilmarnock need staff to help them over the festive period. The role pays £9.50 per hour. On applying for the role, you will complete an online interview that will take around 20 minutes.
7. Front of House Staff - GRO Coffee in Kilmarnock have a number of roles up for grabs and the pay range is up to £11.50 per hour.
The rate of pay depends on age and experience, but above minimum wage and 50 percent off food cake drinks, when working or finishing a shift.
South Ayrshire
8. Waiting Staff- Western House Hotel needs waiting staff to join their ranks urgently. The role pays between £6.56 - £9.50 an hour. The successful candidate must be able and willing to work early mornings (from 7am) and late nights (until 3am)* with suitable means of transport to and from the hotel for this role.
*All employees under 18 latest finish time is 11pm as per Young Workers Legislation.
No experience is needed and staff members are given complimentary tickets to the races at Ayr Racecourse.
9. Seasonal Sales Assistant - WHS Smith in Ayr wil pay up to £10 per hour to their seasonal staff. The position will start from November 26 until December 30.
Ayrshire-wide
10. Delivery drivers - EVRI need drivers to help keep up with the Christmas rush. This is a self-employed role and the company offer a fuel allowance.
One of the main benefits is to choose the days you work. Couriers will have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle with valid MOT and insurance; a smartphone to access the Evri Delivery App and the right to work.
The salary is up to £15 per hour.
