Carabao Cup first-round draw in FULL as Leeds, Leicester and Wrexham discover opponents

Wrexham Leicester Carabao Cup Manchester United Gillingham Lincoln City Notts County Southampton Wembley

Fresh off the league fixtures being announced, the 72 EFL clubs have now discovered who they will play in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Manchester United won the competition last season, beating Newcastle 2-0 at Wembley. Both finalists, along with the other six teams playing in Europe won’t enter until the third round, with the remaining top-flight clubs joining in the second.

Leeds, Leicester and Southampton - fresh off being relegated from the Premier League - will face Shrewsbury, Burton Albion and Gillingham respectively. Meanwhile, Wrexham and Notts County, back in after winning promotion from the National League take on Wigan and Lincoln City.
