A car has been left hanging after it crashed into the front window of a bungalow in a South West village.
The incident happened in Uffculme, Devon, close to the Somerset border, on Thursday, June 30. Cullompton Fire Station released a dramatic photograph showing the extent of the damage to both the silver Volkswagen and the bungalow, which they say could collapse.
Police were called to the scene near College Green in Uffculme around 10am and a cordon was put in place for public safety while the structure of the building was examined. The driver was said to have suffered a minor injury but luckily no one in the bungalow was seriously hurt. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that three crews were present at the scene to make it safe and await recovery to remove the vehicle, it was reported in DevonLive.
