Car smashes into street sign on busy Scots road as cops race to scene

Fife Kirkcaldy

A car has ploughed into a street sign following a two-car crash on a busy Fife road.

Cops were scrambled to Standing Stane Road, which links Kirkcaldy with Windygates on the outskirts of Methil, shortly before 3pm on today.

Two vehicles were involved in the smash, though details of how it occurred have not been disclosed.
