Car smashes into home as residents on Scots street report 'hearing bang'

Emergency services rushed to a Scots street after a car crashed into a home on Monday morning.

Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended the incident on Bervie Brow, Aberdeen, around 9.30am on Monday.

The occupants of the vehicle, which appeared to be a silver Ford Focus were checked over by paramedics at the scene following the incident.

Images taken of the crash show the vehicle inside a garden as the motor appears to have smashed through a wall.

The car stopped just short of a large window at the front of the property and local residents reported hearing a bang. It is not known if the home was damaged during the incident.

Police Scotland confirmed they attended the incident. A spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving one car on Bervie Brow, Aberdeen, around 9.35am on Monday, 20 February, 2023.

“The occupants of the car were checked over by paramedics at the scene.”
