This was the moment a car rolled down one of Nottingham's busiest roads and narrowly missed oncoming traffic - before smashing into a shop window. CCTV showed the incident which happened outside Raglan Road Irish bar in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 31).
The driver had parked on the hill near Canning Circus and was dancing in the bar, oblivious to what was happening outside in Derby Road while other pub-goers and passers-by watched in disbelief. Two cars can be seen driving past just seconds before the Mini Cooper comes into view, rolling across two lanes before crashing into the window of furniture shop Danish Homestore and causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
The incident happened around 1am and Raglan Road spokesman Ged Dowling said: "People came in and said a car just missed them as they walked to the bar. Luckily it missed pedestrians and traffic.
