A car has ploughed into a Scots home sparking an emergency response this morning.
Police and fire crews scrambled to Clarimalt Drive in Kirkcaldy after the alarm was raised at around 8.30am on Monday, April 25.
Dramatic pictures taken from the scene showed what appeared to be a blue BMW crashed into the side of a property on the street.
The vehicle can be seen to have smashed straight into the wall, with bricks and debris scattered across the driveway.
Shocked neighbours were pictured watching on as fire crews cordoned off the damaged building.
Police can also be seen in attendance as the emergency services deal with the freak incident.
It's unclear at this stage how the vehicle crashed into the building but police say their enquiries are ongoing.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they sent three appliances to the scene and left after ensuring the area was safe.
There were no reported casualties as a result of the incident.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “We were alerted at 8.33am on Monday, April 25 to reports of a collision involving one vehicle and a property at Clarimalt Drive, Kirkcaldy.
“Operations Control mobilised three appliances and specialist resources and firefighters assisted emergency service partners at the scene.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received report of a car having struck a property on Clarimalt Drive in Kirkcaldy around 8.30am. No-one was injured as a result of the crash and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
