A busy Edinburgh road is currently blocked after a vehicle overturned as emergency services rushed to the scene.
Vehicles, including multiple Lothian Bus services, have been diverted from Waterfront Avenue in Granton, following the collision, with one eye witness reporting the road being a 'mess'.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene shortly after 4pm on Wednesday, May 17, following the two-vehicle collision. It is understood there were no reported injuries.

Lothian Bus services 47 and X37 have both been temporarily diverted. A service alert on their website reads: "Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Waterfront Avenue and are instead diverted via West Granton Road in both directions until further notice."
A tweet from Edinburgh Travel News also reads: "Waterfront Avenue is blocked both ways by a road traffic collision at Kingsburgh Crescent."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.50pm on Wednesday, 17 May, 2023, police were called to the Waterfront Avenue area of Edinburgh, following a report of a two-vehicle crash. Recovery is being arranged.”
An eyewitness at the scene has now confirmed that police are at the scene directing traffic, with one side of the road now clear for vehicles to pass through.
