Car insurance company By Miles only charges you when your car is driving

A RAC Foundation study has found that, on average, people only use their car as little as 4% of the time. This means that it spends a huge 96% of the time parked, and not in use.

If that’s the case, why are we paying so much for our car insurance? After all, if you’re not actually driving, you’re not that likely to have an accident.

By Miles, the UK motor insurance company agrees. They’ve been operating since 2018 and have a different way of doing things. They work on a car pay-by-mile basis. This means that the less you drive, the less you pay.
