Glasgow Police Scotland Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

A car has erupted into flames after being crashed by thieves on a street in Glasgow.

The culprits lost control of the stolen vehicle and careered it down an embankment before it exploded into flames during the dramatic incident which took place shortly before 9.30pm on Saturday, December 17.

Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, sped Currie Street in the north of the city to cordon off the area and bring the blaze under control, according to GlasgowLive.
