Car damaged in road rage incident in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: Around four bike borne youths smashed the windshield of a car and vandalised the vehicle following a road rage reported in Gunjur, Varthur in Whitefield division on Thursday afternoon.

The attack was captured in the dashboard camera of the car.

The trouble began around 2.30pm when the car driver honked, seeking way from the bikes that were moving in a zig-zag manner on Gunjur main road.

Irked by the honking, a couple of youths blocked their bikes before the car and abused the driver.

At one stage, a biker rammed his vehicle against the car and sensing things going out of hand, the car driver moved from the place. Still, the bikers followed him and again blocked his vehicle near an apartment, where they smashed the windshield and windows of the vehicle.

The entire act was captured in a CCTV installed in the nearby building and the same was uploaded on twitter, tagging city police and seeking legal action against the bikers.
