Emergency services raced to a blazing car on one of Ayrshire's busiest roads.
Police and fire crews were scrambled to the A70 near Ochiltree to reports of the motor inferno just before 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.
A video circulating on social media shows flames roaring from the car as a stream of thick, black smoke obscures the sky.
