Emergency services rushed to Dunelm this morning after a car burst into flames.
Merseyside fire and rescue service attended the Horrocks Avenue store, in Speke, after reports of a fire at 8.49am on Thursday, December 8. Crews from one fire engine found that a car had caught fire at the scene.
Firefighters said that the vehicle was well alight in the car park. Using a hose reel jet, the blaze was put out and the fire service left the scene at 9.42am.

Police were also in attendance. A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: "[We were] called to Horrocks Avenue, Speke, on Thursday 8th December. Crews were alerted at 8.49am and on scene at 8.54am. One fire engine attended.
"On arrival crews found one car well alight in the car park of Dunelm. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Merseyside Police also attended. Fire crews left the scene at 9.42am."
