A cannibal has admitted to eating a man named Kevin Bacon he met on a dating app.
Mark Latunski, 53, from Michigan, lured the 25-year-old hairdresser back to his house after meeting on Grindr - where he killed and ate his date in December 2019.
He confessed to stabbing Mr Bacon (no relation to the Hollywood actor) in the back and then taking parts of his body out and eating them in his kitchen, according to Mlive.com.
Latunski also cut off his testicles and admitted to eating them, he later told police.
He then transferred Mr Bacon's body to his garage and left it hanging with ropes after slitting his throat and removing his body parts.
Concern grew for Mr Bacon after he missed a planned breakfast on Christmas Eve 2019.
Police launched an investigation to find the young man and later traced his motor in a supermarket car park.
Cops managed to track his whereabouts on December 28, 2019, via a GPS which showed he was last at Latunski's house.
The cannibal previously pleaded not guilty to the 25-year-old's death.
He had been using insanity defence but just as his trial was due to start on October 18, he changed his plea.
Mary Chartier, Latunski's lawyer, had pleaded with him not to plead guilty as he has a history of mental illness, according to reports.
The killer pleaded guilty to killing and eating parts of Kevin Bacon and now faces a possible life sentence.
On October 18, Latunski will find out whether he is guilty of first-or second-degree murder, or manslaughter.
