Cannes Film Festival organisers announce women-majority jury

American star Halle Berry and Franco-Moroccan writer Leila Slimani have been chosen to serve on the women-majority jury at the Cannes Film Festival this year, headed by French actress Juliette Binoche.

Binoche will be joined by Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia – who won the 2024 Grand Prix in Cannes with All We Imagine as Light, and Italian actress Alba Rohrwacher.
