Police have discovered a cannabis factory inside a home in a Swansea suburb. A man was arrested after officers from South Wales Police carried out an early morning drugs bust on the property.
A 27-year-old man was held on suspicion of producing cannabis after 47 plants were discovered at a house in Penfilia Road in Brynhyfryd – a busy main road and bus route which has regular flows of passing traffic. The force say the search of the property was "intelligence-led" but they are still looking for anyone with information to come forward after the person who was initially arrested was released without charge.
It is the second cannabis factory discovered in Swansea in a matter of days. Officers executed a drugs warrant in the Penlan area of Swansea and found 400 plants on Wednesday, March 16.
