A candlelit memorial has been established on Bourbon Street in New Orleans to honor the 14 individuals who tragically lost their lives in a devastating attack on New Year's Day. The bustling street, known for its vibrant nightlife, was transformed into a scene of chaos and tragedy when a driver recklessly drove a three-ton pickup truck through crowds of holiday revelers.
At the site of the attack, a large cross and an array of flowers have been placed as a poignant tribute to the victims. Additionally, signs have been erected to announce a vigil scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, inviting the community to come together in remembrance and solidarity.
