Michael Bublé and Alanis Morissette to headline Canada’s World Cup opening ceremony

Canada World Cup

The 2026 World Cup will see three separate opening ceremonies from host nations Mexico , the USA and Canada .
Canada's opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday 12 June at 6:30pm BST (1:30pm EDT) at BMO Field in Toronto .
The event will precede the host nation's match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Canadian icon Michael Bublé is set to headline the opening ceremony, with other performers including Alessia Cara , Alanis Morissette , Palestinian singer Elyanna , and French artist Vegedream , with Jessie Reyez, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, and William Prince also on the bill.
UK viewers can tune in to the festivities live on BBC One, while US fans can watch the event on FOX/FOX One and Canadian viewers on TSN / CTV / Crave.
