When Louise isn't teaching high school students in Victoria’s Wimmera region, she's recording Miss Hobbs Talks All things VCE, a podcast dedicated to ensuring kids have access to educational support, irrespective of where they live.
"I grew up in Kaniva and some of my Year 12 subjects couldn't be offered in person," she says.
"I was fortunate I had family support to board an hour away in Horsham for my Year 12. Many country students aren't that fortunate; it's the reason I became a teacher."
Louise is one of the winners of this year's ABC Trailblazer program, which puts the spotlight on young people with a commitment to making regional Australia even better.
