Architect Dan Meis has sent Everton fans a message over the club's new stadium being built at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Meis , whose firm created the renderings for Everton’s future riverside home, first revealed the designs in July 2019. But he then made the shock announcement 11 months later that he was “not currently engaged” in the scheme and that it was one of the biggest disappointments of his career.
However, he officially returned to his current guardianship role in October 2021. And in March of this year, he paid his first visit to the site where he declared Everton are at an “exciting stage” of the development of the new stadium.

Meis wrote: “You can’t even imagine how excited I am to be able to stand on the concourse soon!
“I have been doing this for 30+ years and it will never cease to feel truly magical to see a drawing come to life.
“Particularly one as passion-fuelled as this!”
