‘Can My Chopper Land There?’ Of Course, The Story About Tom Cruise Visiting Starfighter’s Set Is A+

Tom Cruise, dressed in nothing but black sits behind the controls of a helicopter for Mission: IMpossible - Fallout (2018).

Most people visiting the set of a new Star Wars movie probably show up in a production van, flash a badge and try very hard not to touch anything expensive. Tom Cruise, naturally, had another idea. When the Mission: Impossible star decided he wanted to visit Shawn Levy’s Star Wars: Starfighter set, his first logistical question was apparently whether there was enough room nearby to land his helicopter.

Levy laid out the already-ridiculous story in a Rotten Tomatoes Instagram video, explaining that Cruise asked where they were filming and followed it with, “Can my chopper land there?” The answer was yes. So the Mission: Impossible star flew himself over, landed near the production and spent several hours hanging around with the cast and crew. Because, of course, that is how he visits any film set. Seriously, you've got to hear this story for yourself.
