The Chicago point guard has emerged from the shadow of starting guard Zach LaVine to take on a bigger role with LaVine sidelined for the remainder of the season. And has shown himself a more than capable ball mover and scorer for the Bulls. In a season where any such good news is a blessing, this is an unabashedly good development. But will Chicago’s front office make the most of what he can offer the Bulls to improve his game to an All-Star level by next season?
