Tayside Police are continuing to investigate a firebomb attack on a campervan outside a military veterans’ home in Broughty Ferry.
They confirmed a woman has been arrested in connection with separate vandalism attacks on three other vehicles in the same area the van was torched at the weekend.
The 46-year-old was charged in relation to the incidents that happened around 12.30am on Monday.

Officers confirmed she will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
Inspector Lucy Cameron, of Dundee Longhaugh Police Station confirmed officers were also ‘following a positive line of enquiry’ in relation to the attack on the campervan and a series of other attacks on seven vehicles and two properties.
She told Dundee Live: “A 46-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with vandalism to three vehicles which occurred on Beach Lane and Dundee Road in Broughty Ferry around 12.30am on Monday, 20 June, 2022.
“She will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
“Officers are also following a positive line of enquiry following a series of incidents which occurred on Strathearn Road, Victoria Road, Grove Road and Balmyle Road in Broughty Ferry overnight between Saturday, 18 June, and Sunday, 19 June.
“The incidents included the wilful fire raising of a campervan, vandalism to seven vehicles and vandalism to two properties.”
We told yesterday how vandals torched the campervan and targeted a military veterans’ home in Victoria Road.
The van was set alight on the street outside Rosendael House in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Light fixtures and a statue at the home for old soldiers were also trashed in the incident that happened at about 2am.
The campervan did not belong to the home and was destroyed by the blaze.
Its burnt out shell was still in Victoria Road yesterday covered in police tape.
The Scottish Veterans’ Residence Rosendael provides sheltered housing for ex soldiers, sailors and airmen.
Susie Hamilton, spokesman for the organisation told Dundee Live: “It is very disappointing that this has happened.
“We don’t think the home itself was specifically targeted as other properties were also attacked in the area.
“We have footage of at least one individual and have passed it on to the police.”
And she added: “We’ll have to repair the statue and light fittings so it’s very sad that we’ll have to spend money rectifying this damage.
“Broughty Ferry is such a lovely community - it’s usually so quiet.
“It’s one of the reasons why it’s great for our residents to live there and they enjoy living there.”
