Over €13,000 has been raised by a community to help bring a young man home to Ireland following a terrifying health turn while on holiday.
Kyle Dunne was visiting Gran Canaria, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, when a series of serious complications led to “irreversible brain damage”. His family and friends are now rallying to bring him home and give him the send-off that he deserves when the time comes.
Kyle experienced complications with diabetes during the trip, which led to seizures and a heart attack. His brain was deprived of oxygen, causing brain damage to the young man.
