Queen Consort Camilla is said to have spent the past week enduring a broken toe whilst supporting her husband King Charles III. It's not known how the 75-year-old sustained the injury but it's believed it occurred prior to the Queen's death last Thursday.
A source close to the royal family revealed that she's been 'getting on' with the job of supporting the King in the hectic and emotionally-draining period since his mother passed away, despite having been in 'quite a lot of pain'. According to The Telegraph the source said, "'It is unfortunate timing to say the least but she's been an absolute trouper".
The spokesperson for King Charles has refused to comment on individuals' 'medical conditions'. The news comes as the royal couple head to Wales later today for the King's first visit to the country since he ascended to the throne.
