Cameron Norrie vs Steve Johnson: Wimbledon 2022 start time today, how to watch and h2h results

Cameron Norrie is Britain’s best hope for a Wimbledon champion and looks in fine shape heading into his third-round match with Steve Johnson.

A dominant straight-sets victory over Pablo Andujar in the first round led to a trickier test against Jaume Munar, but the Brit eventually showed his class to drop just two games in the final two sets of a five-set marathon.

Norrie is now looking to reach the second week at Wimbledon for the first time, but the American stands in his way.

Norrie vs Johnson date and start time

The pair will take to Centre Court later today on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Scheduled after Ons Jabeur and Novak Djokovic matches on Centre Court, play is expected to begin at around 5pm BST but could very easily be later.

How to watch Norrie vs Johnson

TV channel: The BBC will broadcast the match on BBC One with coverage commencing at 1.45pm BST. If the match takes place between 6pm and 7pm, coverage will switch to BBC Two.

Live stream: TV licence fee-payers can stream the tennis action over the next two weeks via the BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport website and app.

Norrie vs Johnson prediction

Norrie will know not to consider any draw at Wimbledon kind, and Johnson is more than capable of running out a winner on Centre Court.

The American is a patient player and boasts a superior win record on grass.

Norrie will need to stretch Johnson and disrupt his rhythm, hoping the home crowd will spur him on and, perhaps, affect his opponent.
