One of the best parts about professional football players is their ability to have fun and talk trash. One of the best in the game in New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan and he showed that at Von Miller’s pass rush summit.
When discussing decision-making as a pass rusher, he threw some shade at Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins in a jab that was unprompted.
“Slow right decision, we love ’em. Call ’em Kirk Cousins.”
Pretty rich for a guy that saw his team get beat on a game-winning drive by the aforementioned quarterback in London by a score of 28-25. You might remember his pass on a nine route to Justin Jefferson at the end of that game that was perfect. It got the Vikings in position for a game-winning field goal.
Talking trash is always welcomed, but when the guy you trash-talk cooked you when the game mattered the most, maybe hold back a bit.
