Cameron Carter-Vickers Celtic injury latest as Ange Postecoglou provides update on key defender

Ange Postecoglou Celtic Hoops Tottenham Cameron CarterVickers RB Leipzig United States UEFA Champions League

Ange Postecoglou has delivered an injury update on Cameron Carter-Vickers ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League showdown with RB Leipzig.

The USA international has been a key player in the Hoops' backline since his initial arrival on loan from Tottenham last season before the deal was made permanent to keep him at Parkhead long-term. He has been a consistent first choice but injury ruled him out of the defeat at St Mirren before the international break and the match with Motherwell.

He also had to pull out of the USA national team squad but Postecoglou is hopeful he could be back in contention for the clash at the Red Bull Arena as he provided an injury state of play on his squad after the Premiership action at the weekend.
