Cameron Boyce's mom has thanked Adam Sandler for paying tribute to her late son in Happy Gilmore 2.

The Descendants actor - who played Adam's son in 2010's Grown Ups and 2013's sequel Grown Ups 2 - passed away in 2019 at the age of 20 following a seizure but the new golfing comedy features a scene where Cameron can be seen on TV.
