A pensioner is to appear in court charged with endangering people by shooting towards communal gardens with an airgun.
Wilson Barrett, 72, is said to have "discharged recklessly a firearm, namely an air weapon, in the direction of communal gardens, to the danger and risk of injury to the lieges".
The incident is said to have occurred in Glasgow Road, Camelon, Falkirk, on January 17th last year (2021).
Barrett, of Camelon, is also accused of possessing an air weapon without a certificate.
At Falkirk Sheriff Court today, solicitor Dick Sandeman, for Barrett, who was not personally present in court, asked for the case to be continued without plea.
The case was continued until May 11th (2022).
