A popular Glasgow neighbourhood food spot has gained national recognition after picking up a prestigious food award.
Earlier this week, around 150 representatives of the best takeaways in Scotland gathered at Marriott Hotel for the 2022 Scottish Takeaway Awards.
The awards were set up to 'provide a great opportunity to showcase those who performed well over the past year and are considered the best choice by the public.'

A number of the awards were split into local regions 'to ensure the diverse range of businesses from across Scotland are recognised for providing unique dishes, creating a true gastronomic paradise.'
And triumphing in the Best of Glasgow category was the Asian Tandoori takeaway based on Main Street, Cambuslang.
Owners shared a snap of them with their award and celebrated success by commenting: "Cmon the Cambuslang".
They said: "WE WON! Say hello to the new The Scottish Takeaway Awards winners for the BEST OF GLASGOW category!!!
"Couldn’t have done it without all our brilliant customers who’ve supported us over the last decade!!! THANK YOU".
Dozens have since shared their congratulations on the Asian Tandoori Facebook page, with customers saying: "Well done, well deserved. Congratulations to everyone there."
Another person added: "Got recommended Asian Tandoori about two years ago and wouldn't get a kebab from anywhere else. Best in the business - sauce is brilliant."
Owners say the Main Street food spot: "offers the tastiest Indian food, traditional curries, burgers, pizzas and kebabs", adding: "so much choice, there's definitely something for everyone."

The event organisers said following the announcement of the winners: "Takeaways have been around for so long and are an integral part of our high streets and culture. There is no doubt that it is a fast-growing sector and will continue to shake up Scotland’s economy as more and more food entrepreneurs chose to provide food on the go and delivery services.
"The awards also celebrated top establishments that strive to be different. They commended those who deliver great food to their customers in a timely manner, making it easier to enjoy their delicious meal from the comfort of their homes."
A Spokesperson for the Scottish Takeaway Awards said: “Although in our second year, we are honoured by the fantastic response we have had from the public who was so keen to vote for their favourite takeaways.
“This industry has grown massively over the past years and we aimed to seek out, reward and thank those who have managed to make a real difference by serving fantastic food, using the best of ingredients.
“The winners are an outstanding example of excellence whose dedication to be the best has made them stand out among the rest.
“We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their amazing achievements.”
