Cambodia has officially inaugurated its new Techo International Airport, a sprawling $2 billion facility designed to significantly boost the nation's tourism sector.
The capital's new aviation hub, located approximately 20 kilometres outside Phnom Penh, marked its grand opening on Tuesday with an inaugural Air Cambodia flight from China receiving a ceremonial welcome, complete with fire trucks crisscrossing streams of water over the taxiing aircraft.
