Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt made an appearance recently on “Good Morning Football” and hit on a wide range of subjects.
CTB, set to step into a role as a full-time starter as a sophomore, says that he’s learned quite a bit from simply practicing against the likes of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. It’s not just the reps, either, as CTB said the wideouts will actually point out things he can learn after reps, too.
Asked to respond to those who suggest the secondary is now a weakness after the loss of Vonn Bell and Jessie Bates, CTB kept it simple: “The room is great man. I feel like any one of us can come in and make an impact.”
He mentioned new arrival Nick Scott, first-rounder from last year Dax Hill, the much-hyped rookie Jordan Battle and even Tycen Anderson as guys more than ready to step up when given the chance.
Like always, the core of the Bengals defense doesn’t lack confidence, even if there are some new faces in prominent spots.
