Calvin Harris reveals he made a track with Lewis Capaldi but it's yet to see the light of day after they lost the recording.
The Scots music sensations recorded a song together a few years ago, but the recording got lost after the West Lothian crooner got a hold of it.
Calvin, 38, is currently No.1 on the UK singles chart with his hit Miracle with Ellie Goulding while Lewis, 26, is holding No.3 with his song Wish You The Best.
Calvin, who is currently the highest-paid DJ in the world, told The Mirror: “We made a tune together two years ago and then something happened to it. He put it on his laptop and then lost it or something."
He added: “He’s a great lad and even though we’re not best friends or anything like that, it’s always nice to see a Scottish lad doing well.”
Both Lewis and Calvin are chart-toppers whose hits frequently reach No.1 on the charts, and we can only imagine how good their lost song would be.
The duo have been fighting for the top spot on the singles chart as the Someone You Loved singers new tune knocked Miracle off the top before Calvin reclaimed it on Friday.
The Bruises singer reached a milestone achievement after his latest single earnt him his fifth number one equalling him to the likes of David Bowie, Beyoncé, Cheryl, and The Bee Gees. However, Lewis still has a little bit to go to rival Calvin's 11 chart-topping songs.
