GETTING THERE
Buses
First Bus will be running a number of shuttle buses to and from Hampden with an express return service operating from the venue into the city post-event.
Happy Bus is running services from across Scotland to and from Hampden for the show. This service must be pre-booked at www.happybus.co.uk
Parking
Queens Park Recreation Ground will be the designated parking area.
Rail
There are last-minute cancellations and extremely limited rail services across Scotland at the moment. Please plan ahead and don’t rely on trains to get you to and from Glasgow, check the ScotRail website for the latest information, and look at alternative travel options.
ScotRail has also told commuters who use Neilston services that trains may be busier due to people travelling to Primal Scream Present Screamadelica Live, which is being hosted on the south side of the city on Friday and Saturday.
Phil Campbell, ScotRail Head of Customer Operations, said: “We’re urging everyone who’s travelling to see Calvin Harris at Hampden Park, or Primal Scream at Queen’s Park Recreational Ground, this weekend to plan ahead, check their journey, and consider their travel options.
“To help people get to the gigs, we’ll be adding extra carriages to trains from Glasgow Central to Mount Florida, however, these services are expected to be very busy, so we’d encourage customers to travel early if they can.
“Customers should be aware that there will be no trains from Mount Florida, Kings Park, or Queen Park back to Glasgow after the concerts finishes, so please check your entire journey and know what alternative transport is available.
"A queuing system will be in place at Glasgow Central before events, and we’ll have extra staff there to help and direct you.”
Trains leaving from Glasgow after 11pm:
- 23:17 Glasgow Central to East Kilbride
- 23:21 Glasgow Central to Gourock
- 23:22 Glasgow Central to Stirling
- 23:30 Glasgow Central to Ayr
- 23:45 Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley
