A TikTok-famous singer based in Edinburgh has hailed the capital as his inspiration for new song, Listen To Your City. Calum Bowie has released his new music video for the hit song, with the shots being taken around the city.
The Aberdeen-born songwriter rose to fame on social media after posting videos of himself singing to the people of Edinburgh from his flat window. With over 320,000 TikTok followers, the Scottish lad has been garnering popularity with his cheeky nature and talents, covering songs from his windowsill as the world passed by.

And now Listen To Your City has gone live, with the music video travelling around Edinburgh while he plays guitar and sings to camera. Writing on Instagram, Calum said: "ITS FINALLY OUT!! We finally have visuals for this bad boy - super proud of this video and thank you so much to @danielgreig9 and @alexcormackfilms of @resolutelive for making this masterpiece happen.
"My favourite clip by far is the street timelapse - I’d always wanted to try one of these for either some release artwork or as part of a video and it came out wayyy cooler than I’d hoped! It was actually a really awkward shot to film and definitely irritated a few folk walking by so I can only apologise if you walked into my guitar!

Fans flocked to Calum's comments to share their excitement in the song, with one Instagram user writing: "I loveeee this."
Another said: "Your smashing it bro. can’t wait to see what the future holds for you." And a third wrote: "Feeling aw patriotic and that. Videos braw."
A fourth added: "now I want to visit edinburgh even more! such a cool videooo." And another concluded: "When I see this, I miss so much Edinburgh."
Calum also posted a video of himself travelling around Edinburgh on TikTok, hailing the capital as his inspiration for the song. In the TikTok, he said: "This is the exact vision of Edinburgh I had when writing this song.
"All these people getting on with different things in such a small space makes the city such an exciting place to live."
