Callum Wilson returns amid key changes: Fulham vs Newcastle United team news

Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe handed a surprise start to Jacob Murphy for the clash at Fulham today - with Ryan Fraser only named on the bench.

There was also a start for Callum Wilson as he returned from a hamstring injury while Sven Botman was back in the starting line-up.

Nick Pope started in goal with Kieran Trippier at right-back while Fabian Schar and Botman were in the heart of the defence.

Dan Burn was named at left-back at the expense of Matt Targett.

Bruno Guimaraes, Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock made up the midfield three while Jacob Murphy, Miguel Almiron and Wilson led the line of attack. Elliot Anderson was fit enough to take a place on the bench but there was no spot for injured Allan Saint-Maximin.
