A community group is calling on Glasgow City Council to restore the Barrowlands Walk of Fame to its original glory having lost its 'colour and vibrancy'.
The Barrowland Park Album Pathway, created by Turner-nominated Glasgow artist Jim Lambie, is located just a few hundred metres away from the iconic venue on the Gallowgate.
Fans of Barrowland Park, a local group campaigning to save the park from being turned into flats, have taken to Facebook to call for it to be repaired.
They wrote: "The council elections are one week today. If you live in Glasgow and love Barrowland Park, why not contact your local candidates and ask if they'll support the park and push to have the Pathway repaired - wouldn't it be great to see the Pathway restored to its full colour and vibrancy again?"

The once colourful, vibrant artwork, which has sadly now faded significantly, lists many of the bands who have appeared at the Barrowlands, with the bands and the dates of their gigs portrayed as the colourful spines of rows of LPs.
Since being unveiled in 2014 it has become a popular pit stop for the thousands of music fans who attend the iconic Glasgow gig venue to see their favourite bands.
