Calls to reduce speed limit to 20mph on some Nottinghamshire roads following mother's tragic death

A Hucknall councillor has called for speed limits on some residential roads across Nottinghamshire to be lowered to 20mph following a woman's tragic death.

Councillor John Wilmott raised the issue at a Nottinghamshire County Council full meeting on Thursday, January 20, while paying tribute to a mother-of-two who was killed in a crash.

Kathleen Hinsley, 77, died on November 11, 2021, after being involved in a collision on Annesley Road at around 9.50am on November 3.
